Attending your ceremony 

Put this important date in your calendar and remember to come early so you can check-in and find your seat. Late arrivals will not be permitted.

Participate in the Ceremony

• Arrive early to take advantage of photo opportunities found around the upper concourse and outside (weather permitting).
• Share photos of yourself using one of CNC’s snapchat filters.

Still Need to Register?

Step 1: Apply to graduate

Even if you are not attending a convocation ceremony, you must apply to graduate to receive your credential.

If you have already applied to graduate or received your credential, skip this step. You will receive your link to register for the ceremony via email (step 2).

Step 2: Register for your ceremony

You will receive an email to register for your ceremony after you apply to graduate. Make sure to check your junk mail folder.

Step 3: Complete your Registration

Sending our graduates off with a positive and lasting experience is important to us. In order to contribute to the overall success of the convocation ceremony, there is a $60 non-refundable convocation fee. Included in this fee is a gown package for you to keep.  

Within 3 business days after you register for your ceremony, this fee will be automatically applied to your CNC account. Make sure to complete your payment by May 16^th, either in person in the Office of the Registrar at your local campus, or online through Pay my Tuition. 

Registrations or late payments after May 16^th will incur an additional $40 fee. 

Step 4: Prepare for your ceremony

Invite your guests and plan for your day.

International Students

If you need proof of enrolment to invite international guests:

• Current Students: request a verification of enrolment letter in your CNC Connect account.
• Alumni: use your post-graduate work permit letter.
• If you are inviting friends or family who require a Visitor's Visa, please see the Visiting Friends and Family Check List.

Change of Plans?

If your plans have changed and you are no longer able to attend your ceremony, please let us know.
